When I was 13 years old, my doctor told my Mom and Dad I had high blood pressure and a cholesterol level of 200! The doctor described me as a walking timebomb! I was scared to death. Something had to be done. So, I started going to the local Y.M.C.A., playing football, and wrestling. I started taking better care of myself. But all that changed in 1991. My junior year in H.S. my Father died of a stroke and a massive heart attack right in my mothers arms! This really tramatized me. I stopped working out and got up to 250 pounds. I started feeling sorry for myself.  Then in 1994 I got married and moved overseas with my beautiful wife, who is one of my greatest influences of all, and children in the Air Force. God dealt with me and helped me in ways I could not believe. While in another country I met a sergeant Carlos McCardell from Houston, Texas. He worked at the base gym were we were assigned to. Carlos showed me how to use fitness to make my dreams come true. Me and Carlos were really tight. I started back working out and transformed my physique into a lean, mean, fitness machine. Mentally and physically in tuned. I thought nothing could stop me. Untill again In 1996, I got a call that my brother suddenly passed away. I was really lost and in desperate need for a change. In 1998, we moved back to the states and I needed a job and a new adiutude to go with it. I was a difficult person. So I joined the Navy in the year 2000 and saw some interesting places: Spain, Italy Greece, Arabia, and so on. I was assigned to the USS Ponce first, then, the USS Gettysburg after. In Dec. 2004, I was assigned to The Norfolk Naval Brig in Norfolk, VA on shore duty as a Correctional Specialist and an assistant pt coordinator. I trained over 2500 men and women into physically/mentally fit human beings. I enjoyed my job. I was honorably discarged from the United States Navy in June of 2008 with an idea after all this. I realized something when I walked out of Uncle Sams door. I finally figured out my calling: help others achieve physical fitness. I've spent so much time in gyms and training others that I knew what I was made to do. I was put on this earth to help others get fit, help others believe in themselves, but most of all, help others achieve their fitdreams!
